  • Misc

A weak, crustacean-like creature. The Zoa can be found in a few rooms throughout the sandy, non-water filled areas in Maridia. They are able to hover in the air through use of the pouches on the sides of its body, which fill up with an unknown gas. When threatened, the Zoa will fold its lower body in half, which allows it to propel itself in a desired direction. Zoas are usually found in schools, and rise up out of the sand one at a time.

Perfect for farming powerups while in Maridia, Zoas are easily destroyed with normal Beams.

Zoa is clearly inspired by a common shrimp, which also swim backwards.
