A large beetle-like creature that can climb anywhere. Geemers are one of the most prolific organisms on planet Zebes. Their tenacious legs allows them to move across any surface with relative ease, and they definitely have no problems moving completely upside down on a ceiling. The spikes on their back help ward off would be predators, but they are relatively weak creatures with very basic intelligence. There are three known different species of Geemer: purple, orange, and white.

Geemers are easily destroyed with normal Beam weaponry, and mostly serve as obstacles to get in Samus's way. White Geemers are only vulnerable to Super Missiles, but you can probably find better prey to put them to use.

The Orange Geemer is only found in a single room in the game. It follows Samus if you walk back and forth. No one knows its purpose other than a quirky little joke programmed into the game.
