A fully-mobile plant that resembles a cactus. Though Cacatacs can walk, they have no muscular or skeletal structure, and its legs and thorns are made of very sharp keratin spikes. Cacatacs will eject thorns from their bodies by expanding and contracting rapidly, and then rapidly grow them back, continuing to shoot until the threat has passed or is killed. The Cacatac has adapted to thrive in three vastly different regions on Zebes. Since they can live off of airborne moisture in the area, they are a highly invasive species to any ecosystem.

Cacatacs are easily dispatched with normal beams or missiles. Freezing them keeps them from shooting their thorns. When low on Super Missiles, Cacatacs can be perfect for farming.
