Puyos are sentient balls of slime. Their entire body can stretch over 3X longer than their original size. They can also use their elasticity to jump extremely high - over 20 meters. The ones met in Sector 2 (TRO) have evolved long spikes on their backs, but they're barely more dangerous than their Zebes counterparts.
Puyo pose very little threat. Shoot them with some normal beams to get them out of the way.
