A very powerful form of the Geruta, mutated by the X. The X have taken the Geruta's high-density armor to extreme heights, as its arm-claws are now formed from a very strong metallic-organic substance, and look almost mechanical, complete with screws and bolts. The creature retains the Geruta's flying ability, and is able to fly up and down to attack any oncoming danger.
The Geruboss is completely immune to all Beam Weapons. You can only destroy it with some well-placed Missiles. Unlike the Geruda-X, its attack pattern is very similar to that of the Geruta found on Zebes.
