  • Misc

In their standard life cycle, Sidehoppers can naturally progress to a stronger Desgeega stage, but onboard the B.S.L, the mutations of the X parasites have left the Sidehoppers more powerful and dangerous than the spiky Desgeega. Other mutations include the ability to ignite propellant from their feet while jumping -- a biological feature that is similarly exhibited by many Zebes species for flight.

For long-range attacks, Sidehopper-X can be killed with Missiles or full Charge Beams.

While not the only way they appear, Sidehopper-X often manifest from the parasites of deceased Geruda-X in Sector 3.
