A golden X-clone of a Zebesian Space Pirate. These ultra-durable Zebesians are only fought in one room in the game. Kill the Genesis-X in the room with a power bomb to make one appear.

Gold Zebesians are very similar to the Silver Pirates from Super. They will jump over you, which you will need to kneel or morph ball to avoid. When they jump kick and land facing away from you, shoot a charged Wave-Plasma shot into it. After killing the first one, the X that remain afterwards will flash, meaning you cannot collect them, and turn into one more Gold Zebesian that you must do the same thing to destroy.
