The life of a Sova is more or less a peaceful one. Their back is constantly ignited due to their diet, so they are usually avoided by local predators. Their hide is quite tough, allowing them to crawl through lava with ease and thrive in Norfair's extremely high temperatures.
Sovas are the Geemers of Norfair. They are able to crawl along the walls and ceiling with ease. It's no match for your power beam or bombs. Just be sure to take them out well in advance.
