Wrecked Ship

A cylindrical, bipedal worker robot with a very simple AI program. These robots are an indispensable, standardized model designed by the Chozo to take on a number of tasks. Their mobility is quite slow, but their usefulness is completely versatile. Depending on their programming, they can be tasked with reconnaissance, cleanup, transport, and destruction. They are originally spotted in the Wrecked Ship, where their energy is completely drained and they are immobile. After Phantoon is defeated, the Wrecked Ship robots spring back to life. They do not intentionally want to attack Samus, but have malfunctioned to attack anything that moves.

Cannot be destroyed. The robots are seen in various areas throughout the Wrecked Ship. They will shoot ring-beams at you from afar, but can be easily avoided by Morphing. If you encounter one, just shoot a few normal beams at it to push it forward and get around them.

Though unconfirmed, these bots have an uncanny resemblance to a very famous droid from Star Wars. They are also seen in the Metroid Manga.
