Chozo security drone. The Shirk uses its reinforced spiked armor to ram intruders. It detects movement in infrared using sophisticated eye cams. These drones are placed at checkpoints to guard Chozo artifacts and deal with indigenous life-forms. However, they are not designed for long-distance pursuit.

The Shirk flies around in a circle like the Gullug and Senjoo. It will not track Samus, but will deal a lot of damage on contact. Destroy it from a distance. Drops missiles.

The Japanese name is “Shark” (シャーク). Contrary to the official description, it will not actively try to ram Samus with its spikes, but just flies in a circle.
