The Yumee is a social insect-like animal that creates nests in the rocky floors of SR-388. They detect intruders from vibrations in the ground and changes in atmospheric density. Once they feel their nest is threatened, Yumee will fly from their nests and attempt to ram their opponent and sting with the sharp thorn on their back. The Yumee releases a toxic venom used to paralyze prey or repel intruders. Yumee are known to create large networks of burrows in a single area that helps them swarm intruders.

The Yumee behaves identical to the Gawron, but their profile is narrower, making them difficult to shoot head-on. They will appear from their nests in the ground one at a time, but are limited to only ten to a nest. Once the tenth one has flown out, there will be a tone indicating the nest is empty. They rise into the air rapidly, so it is difficult to leap over them without getting hit and best to destroy or dodge the first before leaping over the nest. Good for replenishing energy.
