Creatures that only have two large hind legs. Hornoads resemble extremely large frogs and sport thick pointy bumps on their backs. They use their extremely muscular hind legs to propel themselves forward, allowing them to cover long distances quickly. Hornoads shouldn't be considered much of a threat, and can be dispatched easily.

The Normal Beam will kill these in two hits. They jump very high, but aren’t too hard to hit or avoid. Drops missiles.

The Japanese name for this creature is “Noad” (ナード). The Japanese manual states, “Jumps about inside the caverns.”
