An Elite Pirate infused with energized Phazon. Elite Pirates rely more on their Wave Quake Generators, opting not to carry the vulnerable Plasma Artillery Cannons normally used by Elites. The direct fusing of Phazon into their bodies provides a tremendous level of energy. The drastically lower life span that comes with this process is of little concern to the Pirate Research team.

Use the same strategy as with the Elite Pirate. Jump over its Phazon Wake, and blast him in the face with a Super Missile. The Phazon Elite takes a few more Super Missiles to kill than a normal Elite Pirate, so the battle may be slightly more difficult.

Like all bosses, this is a rare scan.

Phazon Elites were the first batch of Space Pirates infused with Phazon, and could be considered "prototypes" for the Elite Pirates. Only one Phazon Elite is found in the game. It is also the keeper of the Chozo Artifact of Warrior.
