Security robot shaped like a Chozo head bas relief statue that shoots fireballs at intruders. Wallfires are equipped with motion trackers for proximity detection. Because they are disguised as statues, Wallfires would be difficult to detect by the untrained eye if placed in rooms full of Chozo sculptures, but oddly, most appear well away from any decoration, suggesting these devices were normal ornamentation doubling as security and were designed to deactivate in the presence of a Chozo.
The Wallfire spits a fireball that deals 10 damage. However, they fire at a very slow rate, so are easy to dodge, even if the room is full of them. If there are many Wallfire in a shaft, you can purposefully use their fireballs and perform a mid-air jump after you have been hit to speedrun. Their destroyed shells can also be used as platforms.
The Japanese name for the Wallfire is “Pa-pooh†(パプー), an onomotopoeic sound for spitting, similar to the English “ptui!†One Wallfire in Ruins Area 1 blocks a cleverly-hidden secret passage: destroy the Wallfire, leap on top of its remains, and lay a bomb to open up the passage.
