A long, serpentine creature that lives in walls. The Namihe-X is a mutated version of its Zebes incarnation, which has given it the ability to rapidly stretch its body out in an accordion-like fashion and aggressively try to bite at any oncoming prey. The Namihe can also spew a large ball of energy from its mouth, making it dangerous in close quarters.

It is impervious to single-Beam shots, but the Namihe is no match for a fully charged one. It can also be destroyed with a Diffusion Missile or two Power Bombs.

The creature can also be used as a platform once you receive Ice Missiles.

After a certain point in the game has been reached, the Fune-X in the game change into Namihe-X, which may be a hint that the two creatures are biologically related.
