Another species of the Ripper family. Much more resilient than their Brinstar bretheren, Ripper IIs are invincible to anything in Samus's arsenal and should be avoided at all costs. Beyond their thicker carapace, Ripper IIs have a flame-based propulsion system that allow them to move much quicker.

Ripper IIs are invincible and cannot be killed. Just avoid touching them completely, or freeze them with your Ice Beam.

Ripper IIs can be used as stepping stones as they fly back and forth. The Ice Beam allows Samus to freeze one, jump on it, freeze the next one above it, and repeat. This technique allows Samus to get to areas she may not have been able to reach previously.
