In the latest @nicalis newsletter, they show how they were planning to make the instruction manual used for Cave Story+ nearly identical to the original Metroid manual. As the game itself drew many inspirations from Metroid, so would its game manual. You may notice even the page numbers line up. They later decided not to go this direction for the final version.![]()
