Metroid Themed amiibos and the Games They Feature In

In the tail end of 2014 Nintendo launched a new product line named amiibo, a series of figures with NFC chips which are compatible with numerous different games. The first series of amiibos have been designed to match the characters featured in Super Smash Bros. for 3DS/Wii U, but Nintendo have promised that other amiibo series will be released in the future. Naturally the Metroid series has been included in the amiibo fun.

Samus
One of the first amiibo figures to be released was none other than Samus Aran. Based on her design from Metroid: Other M and adapted for Super Smash Bros., the sleek design of this amiibo makes it one of the best looking ones available to date. Samus has been manufactured in modest numbers, and her rarity is comparable to Fox McCloud.

The main game that the Samus amiibo was created for, in the fourth entry of the Super Smash Bros franchise players can scan in their Samus amiibo to gain a a special computer controlled fighter which can be customized and trained by the player. When fully trained, an amiibo can become a powerful fighting force, even capable of standing toe-to-toe against highly skilled human players. The Wii U version of the game features amiibo support on release, but the 3DS version requires a free update released in 2015.
In the eighth entry of the long running Mario Kart series, Samus is finally given her due as a collectible costume for the Mii racers. By using the Samus amiibo sold alongside Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, players can obtain an exclusive Samus themed costume.
When the Samus amiibo is used in Hyrule Warriors, the player is given a free item when they load the game. This item can range from a powerful weapon, rare materials, or even one measly rupee. Players can use their Samus figure once every 24 hours, and can scan in a maximum of 5 amiibos per day. When players redeem 100 amiibo presents, they earn the medal amiibo Warriors.
When the Samus amiibo is used in Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, the player is given a free 1-up before they enter a level.
In this fighting game from Bandai Namco based on the massively popular manga series One Piece, players can unlock special Nintendo costumes when amiibo are scanned into the game. When the Samus amiibo is scanned in, Nico Robin will wear Samus's Varia Suit and change her hairstyle to match Samus's.
In the enhanced port of Bandai Namco's Ace Combat 3D Cross Rumble amiibo support has been added to the game which unlocks a number of Nintendo themed paint jobs for your fighters. When using the Samus amiibo, players earn a beautiful dark blue paint job for the YF-23 featuring Samus's artwork from Metroid: Other M and the Metroid logo.
When the Samus amiibo is used in Mario Party 10, the player will play a round of Scratch Bonus, which allows them to earn Mario Party points to unlock new in-game content.
When the Samus amiibo is used in Style Savvy: Fashion Forward, the player is given a new item from the whimsical Nintendo themed Fantania fashion line. However, in the international version players can obtain a special pair of sunglasses based off of Samus's visor.
A free game which shows off a blend of classic Nintendo games from the NES and SNES, when the Samus amiibo is used the player unlocks one of 30 random games included. Both Metroid and Super Metroid are in the game, but there is no guarantee that Samus will unlock them.
This cute wool themed platformer from Good-Feel and Nintendo features over 40 different costumes that are unlocked via amiibo. When the Samus amiibo is used Yoshi gains a Varia Suit themed costume.
The Super Mario Bros. themed maker game from Nintendo features 100 unlockable costumes that Mario can wear when playing on the Super Mario Bros. tileset. Included in these costumes is Samus, based on her appearance from Super Smash Bros. for Wii U/3DS. When putting on the costume, the Samus Appears jingle from Metroid plays, and upon completing a level, the item-get fanfare plays. The Samus costume can be unlocked either via amiibo, or randomly by playing the 100 Mario Challenge.
The second 3DS entry in Skip Ltd.'s long running Chibi-Robo! series introduces amiibo compatibility. When using the Samus amiibo, Chibi-Robo can earn special figure #111 for his gallery.
The figure itself reads: Raised by the mysterious Chozo from a young age, she became an indomitable bounty hunter and intergalactic warrior. Every once in a while, she reveals her maternal side.
When the Samus amiibo is used in Taiko Drum Master: Atsumete * Tomodachi Dai Sakusen!, the player is given some in game currency to use in the Mecha Don Gacha to earn new songs for their collection.

When the Samus amiibo is used in Metroid Prime: Blast Ball, the head of the mech gains a Samus pattern.
When the Samus amiibo is used in Metroid Prime: Federation Force, the Galactic Federation mech gets a special Samus paint job and additional auxiliary ammo.
The Samus amiibo has been announced to work with this title, but the details are not confirmed at this time.
Zero Suit Samus
The second Metroid amiibo released as part of the Super Smash Bros. series. Formally announced at the April 1, 2015 Nintendo Direct, Zero Suit Samus was launched worldwide by September 2015. Like her regular counterpart, Zero Suit Samus has been manufactured in modest numbers and is considered fairly rare.
