The International Game Developers Association (IGDA) will be awarding Gunpei Yokoi, creator of the Nintendo Game & Watch and Game Boy and producer of many of Nintendo's most classic games from Donkey Kong to Metroid, their Lifetime Achievement Award at the 3rd Annual Game Developers Choice Awards. The award will be presented by Sonic Team's Yuji Naka, recipient of last year's award, and will be accepted by the late Yokoi's family. Read more about it here.
