MDb news since 1996.
A few hours ago, Nintendo announced on their twitter feed that they will be having a second Nintendo Direct broadcast later today which occurs at the same time as the America, European, and Australian broadcasts. It seems that this first event will be strictly about the hardware so lets enjoy that for now. Don't worry though, I will make a new post later today when software details are shown. Now without further delay, let's have some Wii U!
First off, in Japan the Wii U available on December 8th. There are two different models available, a standard white model and premium black model.
The standard model includes a Wii U, gamepad, 8GB of internal storage, a sensor bar, an HDMI cable, an AC adapter, and an AC adapter for the Gamepad. Price at 25,000 yen.

On day one you can import all of your Virtual Console and WiiWare games to the Wii U!
