Nintendo Wii U Presentation - Tomorrow

Tomorrow brings exciting news for Nintendo fans as all world wide branches of Nintendo announce their Wii U plans for the end of the year. While it's extremely unlikely that a new Metroid game will be shown off, there is no doubt that Metroid Blast for Nintendo Land will be there.

So to begin, Nintendo Co. Ltd, will be having one of their Nintendo Direct broadcasts at 3 a.m. eastern time on the 13th. This will detail the plans for Nintendo's Wii U strategy in Japan, and should include a price and a release date for the console. I also expect some new games from Japanese 3rd party studios to be shown, but even then that may not happen.

Seven hours later, Nintendo of America COO Reggie Fils-Amie will be hosting his own Wii U press event for North America. This event starts at 10 a.m. eastern time. Expect similar details about price and release date, but tailored for North America. Nintendo will be providing full coverage on their facebook page. You can also stream the event from Nintendo's own Wii U page.

Finally, both Nintendo of Europe and Nintendo of Australia will be hosting their own versions of Nintendo Direct at the exact same time as Nintendo of America's presentation. This is midnight AEST for Australia, and 3 p.m. UK time for Europe. For those in Europe, the broadcast is here, and the Australian broadcast is here.

I will be personally covering both the Japanese and North American events, so stay tuned for further details!
