MDb news since 1996.
Nintendo is kicking off their Pre E3 announcements later today at 3 p.m. PDT with a Nintendo Direct presentation from Iwata, who is said to be sharing some new information about the Wii U's concept. Nintendo's main presentation will be on Tuesday the 6th at 9 a.m. PDT, followed by a dedicated "Software Showcase" event on Wednesday at 6 p.m. PDT.
Those who have MTV2 or Spike TV will be able to watch Nintendo's presentation on Tuesday commercial free and with less chance of internet lag interrupting any critical moments. Otherwise, Nintendo will have full streaming coverage on their E3 All-Access hub and Facebook page.
I'm not expecting us to hear much information about the future of the Metroid series, but we'll be following closely, just in case Nintendo decides to release the Metroid-themed Battle Mii as a launch title, sans Slippy Toad.
Update: Here's the Nintendo Direct presentation in case you missed it.
