Yamamoto Taku was kind enough to leave a message on our Facebook yesterday to tell us the group he works with, ZOOMOTH, will be selling a "Baby Metroid" figure at this year's Winter Wonder Festival, which will begin on February 12. For those not in the know, Wonder Festival is a bi-annual Japanese convention that focuses on resin figures and models aka "garage kits." We are very impressed by the Baby Metroid, and we thank you for telling us about it!

Anyone who happens to be in Japan might want to stop by the ZOOMOTH booth - this may be your only chance to get one of these rare Baby Metroid figures. It's going for 6,000yen (~$77) and they only have 50 available. Check out more images of the Metroid at the ZOOMOTH website, which not only has an 8-bit Metroid theme, but also features some other great resin kits!
